Final thoughts of 2.0

I have complete my goal of finishing the class. I will do myspace tomorrow when my daughter comes over. It is a holiday and I have the time. yea. She has been after me all summer to get connected. I think that my continued goal for this class (blog) will be to post some thoughts once a week. I will probable use it as a diary type spot for what I learned this week... Wiki

I viewed the suggested wiki site and found info in all of them. I can't attend the conference in Aberdeen but will forward it to the girls who will be so they can review the schedule. I found an idea at the Bull Run wiki to have one of the 2.0 slide shows on our web site. Let the public have access to the tutorials. I don't feel confident enough to start my own wiki or Maybe if something really moves me I will add to a wiki some day... Dawn

This will be very helpful as I have favorites saved at work and at home. It never fails that I need one site when it's saved on the other computer. Having everything on on place would be very helpful.... I am going to try to set that up before the week end is over.

Office 2.0

I can certainly see the help this could be for my civic organization. We all post e-mails about meetings and changes and who will attend and who won't and the minutes sometimes don't print out for everyone ect. a googl.doc space would be great for the administrative staff.... I personally liked the budget template... something I think i could keep up with every day... Dawn

Found a great sit on Mediafly but couldn't get it to go to rss on blogline. Did find 1 each on the other sites. A "Muggle" site and a 6th grader doing book reviews. I would have really liked to get the Garrison Keillor 5 minutes @ day for the relaxation quality. Didn't see any sites that would be extremely helpful but didn't spend over 1/2 hour looking. All of these lessons have been very helpful if patrons have questions. Up to this point I have had nothing to help them with. Dawn
